Douglas Waltz

Doug Waltz is a Licensed Professional Administrator at Wealth Planning Group, LLC, a financial planning firm located in Chadds Ford, PA. Doug has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Most of his career was spent with Liberty Mutual Insurance where he held a variety of roles which included managing local sales teams responsible for helping clients with their property, casualty, and life insurance needs. Doug joined Wealth Planning Group, LLC in 2022. He is an Investment Advisor Representative having passed both the Series 7 and Series 66 licensing exams. Doug takes a very detailed approach to financial planning and enjoys helping clients achieve their financial goals. He genuinely cares about clients and takes great pride in their success.

Doug graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He has several insurance designations including the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and the Associate in Personal Insurance (API) degree.

Doug and his wife, Maureen, live in Pike Creek, DE and have two daughters. He is an avid Penn State fan and loves watching sports on TV. Other hobbies include going to the gym, traveling to the beach, and spending time with his family and friends.
